A leprechaun's most prized belonging is his pot which is filled with gold. A leprechaun's crock of gold is usually hidden beneath rocks and it can be found at the end of a rainbow. A leprechaun is never far away from his crock of gold! So when you want to catch a leprechaun look for the end of the rainbow.

Now you are ready to catch a leprechaun! Once he ventures forth from his faerie fort you need to catch his eye. One you fix your eye on a leprechaun he is unable to move or escape. But don't take your gaze off him as he will run off being blessed with the speed of a rabbit.
